Shenstone Library is Reopening (Slowly)
We’re reopening our library in a limited capacity
We’re delighted to announce that we are reopening Shenstone Community Library on July 21st.
We have missed everyone here at the library so much; our volunteers, members, patrons and friends and everyone else who has come in to spend time with us, whether it be borrowing books, enjoying some coffee and cake, singing along at Baby Bounce and Rhyme or for one of our events. So the good news is that we are reopening our doors. However, the safety of everyone is our first concern and to ensure that we all remain safe and healthy we are opening the library in a limited capacity for the time being.
We do hope you understand that while we are as eager to reopen everything as soon as possible and get back to normal, we have a responsibility to you our members and customers and our own volunteers to ensure that we provide a safe space, to that end we will only be opening the library for collections for our new order and collect service and the summer reading challenge, and the coffee shop will be opening in a limited capacity.
For now this means that we are unable to offer some of our usual services such as our IT and computers, our wonderful events and games groups. Our popular Baby Bounce and Rhyme, Storytime, Local History Group, Reading groups will remain online only for now and we will continue to review this going forward.
