Introduction to Oil Painting with Kate Brinkworth

Calling all budding painters!  We are delighted to be offering you the chance to come along to a very special event that we have planned as part of our our 1st birthday celebrations.

On 18th June, Shenstone library will be hosting a very special Introduction to Oil Painting session with internationally renowned artist Kate Brinkworth!

Kate is a pioneer in the art world, and has sold paintings and exhibited in New York, Paris, London among many other global locations.  Her unique style and skills have been honed all her life and have earned international recognition, praise and also earned her a university lecturer role for Windsor & Newton.

The session will be unmissable for anyone with an interest in painting as Kate takes you through the process of using and creating beautiful artwork from oil paints.  Tickets will cost £10 and that will include all materials and refreshments.

Booking is essential to reserve your spot at this event and it can be booked at the library desk during our opening times.

Who: Our Introduction to Oils session is suitable for anyone over the age of 16 (remember to dress appropriately for painting)
