Children’s Area

When we took over Shenstone Community Library, we wanted to be as Child Friendly as possible.

The  Children’s Area is situated in the main room of our Library and holds over 1000 children’s books to suit all ages, from their very first touch and feel book through to a best-selling Teen literature including all their favourite authors like Julia Donaldson, Jaqueline Wilson, Roald Dahl, David Walliams, Stephanie Myers and hundreds more.

There is also a large seating area within the Children’s section with chairs, beanbags for the kids to relax and read books on to their hearts content.  This area is also where we hold our popular Baby Bounce and Rhyme and Story Time groups
